Why are we so affordable?
Celebrating 50 years of serving the community at the same location, Sobriety House is a 501(c)(3) private non-profit corporation and the oldest residential substance abuse treatment center in the State of Colorado. Because of our non-profit status and our longevity, and because we are partially subsidized by the State of Colorado, we are able to keep our fees low.
Prospective clients may qualify for treatment at Sobriety House without cost. We require proof of household income and residency status in the Denver metro area. Contact our Intake Coordinator for details (720-381-4337).
For clients that do not meet the eligibility criteria for low-income or the local residency criteria, the fees are as follows:
- $5,280 for Phase I – Intensive Residential Treatment (maximum of 28 days)
- $2,000 for 30 days Phase II – Transitional Residential Treatment (maximum of 180 days)
Kaiser Permanente – Sobriety House accepts referrals made by Kaiser Permanente’s Mental Health or Chemical Dependency department, for Phase I (Intensive Residential Treatment) only. Kaiser clients must be pre-approved by Kaiser.
Medicaid – at present, Medicaid covers only outpatient services; Phase I and Phase II are NOT covered by Medicaid. However, you may be eligible as having a low-income which may qualify you for treatment at no cost. Contact our Intake Coordinator for details (720-381-4337).
