Residential Inpatient Programs

Phase I – Intensive Residential Treatment

Phase I is a 28-day intensive residential program. This program is an intensive treatment intended for those with severe addictions or little prior rehabilitation experience. Each week of the program focuses on one of the following subjects: Sobriety Maintenance, Stress Management, Assertiveness Training and Feelings Awareness. Clients attend four small groups each day that focus on these subjects.

This 28-day program also includes:

  • One-on-One counseling
  • Daily group therapy sessions
  • Yoga
  • Art Therapy
  • 12-Step Meetings
  • Restricted Campus

Fees

Phase II – Transitional Residential Treatment (Halfway House)

Our Phase II is a 30-120-day structured, supportive program where clients obtain full-time employment during the day and attend treatment activities during the evenings.

These activities include:

  • Group Therapy Sessions
  • One-on-One Counseling
  • 12-Step Meetings
  • Participation in 12-step work

Phase II is often recommended for clients who complete the Phase I program.

What to Bring at Admission

Phase III – Independent Living – The Gaylord Apartments

The Gaylord Apartments is Sobriety House’s independent living program. Graduates of our residential programs can apply to live in one of our furnished, minimal rent apartments for up to 9 months. Residents are required to maintain their sobriety and are expected to actively participate in an aftercare program while living at Gaylord.

Insights at the Phoenix Concept (Co-occurring Disorder Treatment)

This program serves men who are primarily diagnosed with mental illness with a secondary diagnosis of substance abuse. It is only offered to those who are Medicaid approved or who may pay on a private basis.

Insights clients may participate in Phase I and/or Phase II if desired with no additional charge.

Insights offers:

  • Weekly individual therapy
  • Small group therapy
  • Medication monitoring / administration
  • Case management
  • Participation in 12-step work
  • Outpatient continuing care
  • Safe, temporary housing
  • Structured sober environment

Stepping Stone

Stepping Stone isn’t a program by itself, but it is a unique location for women in recovery. As part of the Sobriety House family, women live here while in Phase I and Phase II. Stepping Stone is located in a beautiful Victorian house and offers rooms for 16 women. Stepping Stone is managed by an all female staff.
