Sobriety House offers two structured residential treatment programs designed to support adults seeking lasting sobriety.

Our Intensive Residential Treatment program provides a highly structured environment for those building a strong foundation in early recovery, while our Transitional Residential Treatment program supports individuals as they begin reintegrating into daily life with continued structure and support. Together, these programs help clients develop stability, independence, and long-term recovery skills.

A focused, 28-day start to recovery

- Structure: 4 weeks on campus with 2-3 therapeutic groups daily, 7 days/week.

- Skill Building: Weekly group themes include Feelings Awareness, Sobriety Maintenance, Stress Management, and Assertiveness Training.

- Personalized Support: Meet with your assigned counselor for a one-hour individual session each week.

- Safe Environment: No personal electronic devices; limited off-campus access except for essential appointments and staff-led outings.

- Accountability: Random urinalysis (UA) testing, assigned chores, and mandatory participation in support meetings.

Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT)

Phase I

Flexible support for up to 4 months as you transition to independence

- Customized Duration: Stay is determined with your counselor based on your needs.

- Balanced Schedule: Group sessions on Monday and Thursday evenings (two hours each).

- Continued Counseling: Weekly one-hour individual sessions (with your same counselor from IRT, if applicable).

- Real-Life Integration: Clients are encouraged to work, job hunt, attend school, volunteer, or participate in community support during the day.

- Device Policy: Daytime access to phones/laptops; devices secured overnight.

Admission Requirements

At Sobriety House, we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all clients. Before beginning residential treatment, individuals complete a pre-screening and intake process to ensure the program is the right fit for their needs.

To be eligible for residential treatment, individuals should:

  • Be willing to actively participate in program activities

  • Be medically stable and appropriate for a residential level of care

  • Meet city and program eligibility requirements, which are reviewed during the pre-screening process

An intake appointment does not guarantee admission. Final decisions are made following a clinical assessment to ensure each individual receives the most appropriate level of care.
