Open Positions

  • House Manager applications are accepted on a ongoing basis - to apply, please email your resume and why you’re interested in the position to Megan Ritenour at meganr@sobrietyhouse.org

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintains smooth and safe running of the house on an everyday basis

    • Monitors medications, UA’s, BA’s and completes appropriate documentation

    • Conducts the house intakes and orientation with new clients

    • Issues client write-ups to those in violation of program rules and regulations

    • Participates in weekly staff meetings

    • Conduct House meetings every Thursday night as assigned by the Supervising House Manager

    • Communicates regularly with clinical staff regarding clients’ behavior or any relevant concerns

    • Be diligent in seeing that the clients do their assigned chores daily

    • Conduct bed checks nightly

    • Transports clients to/from other Sobriety House properties or social, recreational events, and twelve-step meetings as needed

    • Collects outside 12-step attendance slips and gives write-ups to those who have not attended three meetings per week

    • Maintain the communication/shift log when on duty

    • Enter client information into the computer/EHR daily

    • Other duties as assigned by the Lead House Manager

    Requirements:

    • If in recovery, applicant must have a minimum of 9 months of continuous sobriety from drugs and alcohol

    • Flexible schedule with day, night, and weekend availability preferred (for FT positions)

    • QMAP certified preferred

    • Valid drivers license

    • Eligible to work in the US
