Why Help SoHo?

Sobriety House is Colorado’s oldest 501C3 Non-Profit Rehabilitation organization and most of its Board of Directors are in multi-decade recovery (we walk the walk, for the past 54 years).

  • 93% of Sobriety House’s clients are not charged because they are Vets or homeless or both.

Typically, rehabilitation facilities in Colorado are wholly-owned divisions of larger national or multi-national for-profit corporations. Many of these centers are ‘at fee’—meaning they benefit financially from treating your loved ones’ addictions. If you know people suffering from these afflictions, it is an unfortunate truth many facilities are ‘mills’ simply to check boxes for courts and collect fees.

Who Will You Help?

Sobriety House focuses the majority of available resources to priority populations such as homeless and veterans. Being the oldest recovery center in Colorado, SoHo specializes in providing a time-tested approach to reaching those in the community who need our help the most.

  • 90% of donations go directly to client and patient care so your contribution goes towards helping the people you intend to help.

For every $1 spent on substance use disorder treatment, approximately $4 is saved versus incarceration. And for every $1 spent on treatment, approximately $12 is saved in acute medical care. This averages to a 1:8 ratio for cost savings to our community in terms of criminal justice and hospital admissions.
